Laser Cut Project
I designed this piece in Illustrator and then used a laser cutter to cut it out of birch plywood. I was inspired by the idea of using the “fault” of the machine, which occasionally left burn marks, to my advantage and created a piece that was purposely scorched. I fell in love with this idea and after it was completed, I added more burn marks to make it really look the way I wanted. I would really enjoy doing more of these in the future.
